Post-Doctoral Research Manager with background in Micro-economics

We offer a part-time or full-time contract starting July 1, 2021 (flexible starting date) until April 30, 2023.

We are hiring a post-doctoral Research Manager with a background in micro-economics. The successful applicant will work in the research units of Professors Bram De Rock (household economics) and Glenn Magerman (production networks).
The Research Manager plays an important role in the initiation, management and valorization of research. S/he is the connection between the unit’s leading professors and their research team (post docs, PhD students and collaborators). S/he is expected to coordinate research activities, including funding applications, research collaborations, and a unit’s operational and financial management.
Offer
We offer a part-time or full-time contract starting July 1, 2021 (flexible starting date) until April 30, 2023. Further extensions are possible. Salaries follow the 530 Schedule (“Bareme”) of “Logisticien de Recherche” at ULB, and allow for a full-scale career path at ULB. The Manager has dedicated time for his/her own research. The recruited person will benefit from the Belgian social insurance scheme.
Applicants must have obtained a PhD in economics by the start of the position and show strong managerial skills.
