We are delighted to announce Dewatripont Fest, a two-day conference celebrating the outstanding academic career and contributions of our beloved colleague Mathias Dewatripont.

The conference will bring together leading researchers, policymakers, colleagues, and friends for two days of scientific exchange and reflection.

Round tables will cover major themes including:

  • Banking and Finance (with participation from the European Central Bank and the National Bank of Belgium)
  • Economics in theory vs. practice (with speakers from the European Commission and E.CA Economics)
  • Innovation and Science (including former leaders of the European Research Council)
  • Health (co-organized with I3h)

The program also features contributions from numerous ULB colleagues and long-standing collaborators of Mathias.
