En Mars, un porte-conteneurs de la compagnie Evergreen Marine Corp. s’échoue en travers du canal de Suez après avoir été déporté par une rafale de vent.  Bloquant le passage pendant une semaine, il affecte toute l’économie mondiale; les cours du pétrole s’affolent; les marchés tremblent.
